CCJ - Bankruptcy

Hi Pat,
Respond to the CCJ because if you don't the creditor will file default judgement anyway and make an offer, can be a token offer and quite low if you can't afford payments. e.g £1 per month. This should hopefully prevent any enforcement action of the CCJ such as bailiffs and once you go Brupt it will be included in the Bruptcy.
There is a space at the bottom of the form to explain circumstances (its very small) but just put on there that you are filing for Brupty next month.
If you don't respond given the dates you are due to go Brupt the creditor probably won't have time to enforce the judgement anyway so don't worry. I would respond because it shows you're taking the matter seriously.0 -
i am also filing for bankruptcy in a week or two and wondered how you found the process. i am really nervous, but resigned to it now .0
