I was just wondering, for the magazine puzzle entries, how strict/stipulated is the entry format? I noticed (all the lovely generous) posters who post the answers tend to list them in capitals (perhaps just for clarity in the post) and without punctuation - is this exactly as they need to be entered?
For example, Paul O'Grady was recently an answer and it was posted as PAUL OGRADY - is that exactly as it needs to be entered? Or would any of the following be correct: Paul O'Grady, Paul ogrady, paul O'Grady, PAUL O'GRADY etc.
Same goes for the word don't - it is usually written as DONT in posts.
Thanks

hi, for the text entry/s in the EF's (t&c's) in the mag/s it usually states you can use capitals or small letters,
TAB have on the entry form use BLOCK LETTERS throughout for entering the EF's,
so we've always used capitals for giving the answers
for the online entries,
some years ago this was asked before & afaicr
it was replied from TAB that it didn't matter as long as it
was upper or lower case,
that was a long time ago though & they still state use BLOCK LETTERS on the form,
no punctuation is needed.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.

I wondered this too, one of the regular puzzle magazine comps its highlighted in bold in the post as (example)>> (B) WINDSOR CASTLE
Do you need to include the (B) in brackets with your answer, or will the answer alone do? I'm sure it may not matter but I've always wondered!0 -

I always include it and have won
As long as it is correct, I don't think it matters how it's written x Thanks to all posters :A0
