Old debts/failed IVA

Hi all, I'm looking for advice please about 9 years ago I found myself in huge amounts of debt roughly 25,000 I took out an IVA with Wilson Phillips which I payed £278 a month for nearly 3 years when I fell pregnant and was made redundant. I stopped paying my IVA in January 2009. Since then I've buried my head and got on with bringing up my son. I work part time and get the standard benefits as a single parent. My son receives DLA which is paid to me. What should I do as I'm starting to receive debt collection letters and am finding it increasingly difficult to sleep as it's playing on my mind so much. Thanks in advance.

depending on when the IVA company last paid or acknowledged the creditors the debts could be statute barred.Still rolling rolling rolling......

As far as I'm aware non of my creditors will have received any money from the IVA company as fees will have been deducted first?0

so would just be a case if the IVA company wrote at all acknowledging the debst
maybe do a SAR to the IVA company requesting copies or details of communications they had with your creditors.Still rolling rolling rolling......

Hi Poorlas
Rizla is referring to a Subject Access Request which allows you to demand copies of whatever information the IVA company holds about you. This is a letter template you can use:
