Hello everyone i'm 30 years old and stuck in a rut, I went through a difficult situation last year my best friend passed away known him since I was 5 and I ended up leaving my job. ( he was a part of the company for 3 years) that was in July
My expertise is IT that's the sector I worked in. I have been trying really hard to get another job but have been held back slightly with panick attacks and anxiety.
Money wise I have no savings, I am about a grand overdrawn with Satander chasing me. I have a few things I could sell like my PS3 and stuff. but I just can't see a way out of this black hole. Been having some horrible thoughts lately of just either running away or doing something stupid. In my heart I know this isn't the answer.
Is there anything I could be doing now to get some money in? my only income source is jobseekers.
Many Thanks for your time

Hi Ally, sorry that you have had difficulties recently! Life can be hard sometimes for all
Who are you staying with? Living alone can trigger darker feelings and also can be expensive.
What sort of IT job you could do?
May I ask also to post here as there are people not reading this forum but may be able to offer help.

Have you seen your GP for anxiety and panic attacks - if not, please do as the first thing!ally.0 -
First of all, have you seen a doctor about the anxiety? If not, do so. Either way, think positive!
There are plenty of sites listed on here, have a look through. Survey sites and review sites are a good place to start. You could also try starting a blog.
Keep job searching. Don't get carried away with other ways to make money and forget to job search. Not only could you end up sanctioned but the best way of getting money is a job. Maybe check your CV is well written and up to date if you haven't already. If you get help for the anxiety job searching should be easier but the key is positive thinking. You were working before, you can do it again!
Other options for income would involve being self employed and that means coming off JSA. Options include mystery shopping, buying and reselling, creating things to sell (crafts) or you could offer IT services to people (depends exactly what area of IT you do). You need to research though and decide exactly what your business plan is.0
