Mortgage application with Precise

Hi
I wonder if someone can help me. I have an application going through with Precise. I originally got the DIP on 17th Feb, they did a credit check with Experian for this, on the higher rate due to adverse credit in the past. The full application went in two day later, I have checked Experian and Equifax and they were checked on the 24th and 26th respectively. they have taken the money for the valuation and I have had correspondence with one of their panel of solicitors (this is after the credit checks). My broker then phoned me today and said the underwriter has asked for my p60. My question is, if they were going to decline me on the basis of my credit would they have done that by now, is the fact that they are looking for information 4 working days after the credit search a good sign??
Thanks in advance for any help

I suspect you did not ask your broker as you were worrying about it late at night.
However, as GMS says, only your broker will have accurate information on what is happening.I am a Mortgage Broker
