the trainline tickety split booking

Order tickets today. Even though delivery address was clearly stated as different to primary address - still going to primary address. Rang as seen as confirmation e-mail arrived to change. Told at first this couldn't be done, then it was. All this happened within 5 mins of tickets being booked. Then 1 and a half hours later received email to say tickets had already been collected and couldn't be changed. Rang Customer support (in India!) unable to help. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make sure note is taken of the delivery address in My Account for any future bookings? I paid a £1 for delivery to the wrong address!

The real question you should be asking yourself is why did I use The Trainline when I could have saved money by using pretty much any other TOC? And they would probably have got your address right too.0

Yes. Next time, collect from station.
And switch to East Coast who do not charge fees and credit card fees, and allow you to book with any train operator.0 -

Or, as I said, pretty much any TOC (I tend to use Scotrail as they're my local TOC, but I know the others work in a similar way).0 -
I saw an article in the thesundaytimes a few weeks back (this website stopped me linking to it
). There's a website (trainsplit dot com) - it's quite ugly but it does seem to work better than the TOC in my limited experience.
