CSA Tribunal HELP NEEDED PLEASE!

Hi, I have a tribunal in April, my ex had his debt of £8000 wiped out when he instructed a firm to represent him (cant afford CSA but can afford representation...) He appealed his debt saying he had stopped working and his girlfriend supported him. I appealed and lost because he had 2 people representing him, I appealed that decision and my appeal was accepted-the judge agreed that he did owe the debt and now we are back to square one in front of another judge, but when he has 2 people there and I have nobody, I feel I will lose. My kids are depending on me and I am terrified I will let them down, its so unfair. Is there any body or organisation that represent the parent with care? I cry myself to sleep every night over this, they come out with all these technicalities. Please if anybody knows of anywhere in the central/south Manchester area who represent parents with care, it would be great, I can pay a reasonable fee. thanks. Janine.

Have you tried ProBono Solicitors or Legal Charities ? Maybe they could advise you ?

NACSA are very good, they help any parent struggling with CSA issues PWC or NRP. They are only going to succeed at tribunal if the NRP can demonstrate that the CSA decisions or procedures were incorrect in some way. I'm sorry, I don't know where you can get help in your area, but if NACSA think your ex has a case it may be that the arrears figure that CSA have calculated is incorrect.
Have you asked your local MP for help and advice. MPs can be very helpful with CSA issues. I doubt the MPs office can do much as far as the tribunal is concerned but they may be able to put you in touch with a local advice service that could help.0 -
justontime,NASCA are aware my ex husband works cash in hand and speak scathingly about me in correspondence. I don't see how people can take money from somebody who is refusing to pay a single penny to maintain his kids to enable them to continue to not pay0
