Tax on company abroad

in Cutting tax
hi there,
do I have to pay tax (through self assessment) if I am the registered owner of a company abroad but not paying myself a salary?
Obviously any money paid to myself as salary will need to be taxed.
Anyone has any experience with this?

If your company is managed and operated by you, living in the UK, then it is liable to UK corporation tax on the profit it makes, less double taxation treaty relief for profit taxes it pays it other countries (if any).
You drawing money out is a different matter entirely. Personal tax in the UK is due on money paid to you either in payroll or dividends. But that's a separate issue.0 -
I need to research this a bit more!!!0

If you haven't already you could try calling HMRC.. They are actually really helpful (which surprised me) and it's free..0
