London and Country...Any experiences??

Hi there! My husband and I applied to the bank for a mortgage and were declined. I have obtained my credit report from experian and was surprised to see im rated 917 out of 1000 and so have got a 'good' rating. My husband hasnt checked his and the bank said we were declined for a default notice my husband received in 2005. This is being paid off slowly through CCCS along with other debts he accrued. We have contacted London and Country (saw them mentioned in one of the mortgage articles on this site) and they are confident they can find us a mortgage i was just wondering if anyone on here had used them and could let me know what they are like for customer service etc?

Thanks in advance
Monica

We have used them twice in the past few years and found their service to be excellent. I think even Martin recommends them, others may like to confirm this.

Thanks for the link angela - I'm looking for a mortgage (to buy back my BI from my Trustee in Bankruptcy) Got some excellent advice on the mortgage board, but didn't know about this - have downloaded a copy - it's also free. :T :T

I've used them on a couple of B2Ls and a residential mortgage and each time they've been excellent.
