Hello all,
I'm a resident of Bermuda but have dual citizenship. Does anyone know where I could get an international mortgage that will cater to Bermuda residents? Lloyds, Barclays, NatWest, Halifax don't seem to.

I think you would need to look closer to home, ie where you earn your money."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0

Have you spoken to the correct departments of those banks? The lenders that deal with international citizens or just the normal high street parts of the banks?
There is a broker called conti who specialise in that sort of thing. I have never used them personally but my old network used to suggest we referred similar cases to yours over to them.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Try a broker in Uk that deals with expat mortgages. I received my offer today from Natwest and I don't live in the UK. You must have a UK passport, a citizenship certificate is not enough. Was surprised to receive my shiny new British passport only 2 weeks after applying for it so that shouldn't be a barrier to you if you don't have one.
PM me if you want the number of the broker I used.0 -
Thanks - sorry I'm very new to this forum and not sure how to pm you, would you mind sending through the details of the broker you used?
Many thanks!0
