I need a cheap (but not rubbish) ironing board

Ok very boring, but i need another ironing board, as frankly my last one took the brunt of my lifes frustrations! Prefer to buy online (but not pay delivery charges, who does these days!). I don't want to pay much, as there are lots of other things that i'd rather see my money spent on.
Thanks
Thanks

Don't get the Asda "Smart Price" one (about £3.50) - the cover's so thin you end up ironing a mesh pattern into all your shirts, and the steam from the iron drips through it all over the floor!
I got mine in Poundland (for £1), and bought a metallic cover there as well - bargain! But not online, I'm afraid.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

When it comes to buying an ironing board-I'd avoid the really cheap, thin and flimsy ones-we got one from ikea but you end up with the mesh marks on your clothes and ends up more creased then when you started!
I brought one off ebay, a good quality one but heaps cheaper. (from a shop on there)

My last one (as in the broken one!) was from home bargins. Don't have a particularly good track record with ironing boards, don't know why.....November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post.0

some advice i was given by my dear mother recently was you shouldn't buy the cheapest ironing boards out there as you'll have more problems than it's worth with them. i decided (for once) to listen to her and spent £20 on one from argos.
do you have a budget at all?"Who throws a shoe, honestly?"

i picked up a wrapped 'second' Minky extra wide board from local car boot sale for a fiver and a thicker replacement cover for 4.99 from another local market
