Help - SC Vegetarian Recipe Book

Options
Hi All,

Sorry for starting a new Thread but have searched and can't find the information anywhere.
Here it goes... I have got a new SlowCooker Last Week...
Have tried to make Bolognese Sauce, Rice Pudding and Creamed Corn in it till now...
TBH - None was any good..
OH has refused to even taste anything that comes out of SC...
I have an exam in September and hence can't spend time cooking in the evening... and OH is not a great cook(though he doesn't think so)
We had a big arguement yesterday...
And atlast we have decided that we are cooking our own food this month(New Challenge)
I will be using my SC
He will be using the Cooking Hob
Now I need a good recipe book so that I can make OH jealous so that he joins me next month...
I have seen this book on Amazon:

Real Food: Vegetarian Recipes for Your Slo-Cooker (Real Food) (Paperback)
by Annette Yates (Author)

Does anyone know if this book is any good...
Can someone please recommend any other good book for SlowCooker Recipes - (We are Vegatarian)
Thank you Very Much

Money queen sorry to say it but I don't think veggie food works in slow cookers :( I got one at Xmas and everything that comes out of it tastes the same to me...I really do think it works better for meat.

Though my experience was complicated by the fact that you have to half fill it and like an idiot I got a big SC for only two of us. Nothing tasted better on the third day either :(

Sorry should have said i'm veggie too...

    Thanks AngelavDavis and BelfastGirl23...

I also think that buying the SlowCooker was a mistake...

But now that I have bought it... Better I use it... so I am going to order the Recipe Book on Amazon and take it from there...

AngelavDavis - Thanks... atleast Now I can make something in my SC till the book arrives...

oh dear you guys havent got the hang of your slow cooker - I am veggie too and have had one for years, it is so good - try casseroles made with quorn chunks, make bolognaise with quorn or equivalent veggie mince, fab for minestrone soup, and i often make a veggie sausage casserole, using one of those pack sauce mixes with loads of vegetables, and sometimes yummy dumplings...don't give up, it's one piece of kitchen equipment I regularly use
