It's taken months to get to this point but my OH finally went bankrupt this morning.
He arrived early for his 9am appointment at the court office so had to wait for the chap who deals with bankruptcies to arrive. Here in Wales apparently a new fast-track system has been brought in. OH's forms were checked and forwarded for the judge to do whatever with. OH will receive his paperwork by post. The whole process took about 15 minutes and OH was told the OR would phone him within a couple of hours. The OR phoned briefly at 12.15 and has arranged an interview over the phone on 15 August which he said should take about half an hour.
Tonight we are expecting to get the best night's sleep for a long time...assuming our one year old son lets us.

Well done to BOTH of you - your husband for going through the process and to you for the support that you have so obviously and willingly given him.
I'm sure that the OR interview will be no problem, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any worries.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Really pleased all went well for you...the OR interview should be painless enough write anything down that pops into your head to ask beforehand (just incase you have any questions) be as honest & open as you can & things will be fine
