Can I take this further ?

Hi,

I recently won a weekend trip to london with galaxy radio prize included flights and transfers from newcastle to london and two nights bed and breakfast in a central london hotel.
It was a silly karaoke night in Newcastle and I won for being the most entertaining. I was offically announced as the winner, had phot's taken and even had the video posted on galaxys website and youtube (even though I did not sign any official release form)
The next day someone from galaxy contacted me to confirm my details, and I was told I would be contacted by someone from easyjet. A week later I was, I recieved an email from easyjet asking for names of people travelling and three preffered dates.(it also stated that it needed to be booked by the end of July).
Since then I have heard nothing. I have emailed both the easyjet contact (3 times) and galaxy contacts (on the back of the no resonse from easyjet) yet still have not recieved a reply.
Obviously it is now August and I am extremely frustrated with this situation.

Can anyone help, has anyone been in a similar situation where a prize has not been given ?
Are there official channels I can go down ?
All MSE help would be appreciated.

p.s. if this is in the worng section I do apologise but could not see anywhere else for it.

Is there a phone number for either company that you can ring? They can't ignore a phone call like they can an email. Good luck!

hi,

I've not recieved a letter or anything . No contact telephone number was given to me in the emails I have recieved. It was my local galaxy, galaxy north east, the karaoke night was presented by Steve and Karen who present the Breakfast Show. I know they are recieving my emails as I've got delivery notifications on them.

Contact them again and name drop Trading Standards by saying something like "Trading Standards advised me to ............." (whatever). That usually gets them moving.

I've emailed the complaints team just now, so I will give them until next week to respond then phone the main reception if I hear nothing.

I think the words ICP the competition monitors would scare them


Is it ICP anyhow i have 11 years of Radio competition experiance and i would not email then no more as they ignored u i would call direct to reception wholl know who to put you through to

I have sent through your hotel and flight details no less than 6 times.

The radio station have also rung and STILL you claim no one has contacted you.

I emailed you back the moment you emailed last week, and still you claim you have had no response.
