nationwide top up loan

Hi. i took a nationwide loan in november and applied for a top up loan recently and declined. soft search quote gave me the rate 6.2 i got for my original loan. so iam guessing ive not had the loan long enough. anyone have any idea how longi should wait before applying again.

    To get a better rate apply when you have cleared your current loan or when your circumstanes change enough for the lender to offer you a cheaper rate.
    "Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!
