Ex-SWIP funds

I've asked Aberdeen AM, who recently took over SWIP, for some information about the SWIP funds in my SW drawdown "portfolio" - Aberdeen say that the Bank of New York
[ ie BNY Mellon?] currently administers these holdings under the Aberdeen brand name and referred me to SWIP Fund Management Limited, Mellon House etc. .... it feels like my pension fund is adrift - would it worry you?

Depends on the questions you are asking.

In which case you ask the pension provider or the intermediary.

You would be better asking for the Citi, Sedol or ISIN codes to find out exactly what you have. Put the code in the search box on Trustnet and it'll bring up the correct fund.

Citi, Sedol or ISIN codes - thanks for that.
Would be great if SW provided that automatically for each fund they refer to - to give certainty.

They do in their feeds to advisers.

The problem, as I have mentioned before, is that you are using a tied agent. You are getting a limited service option which focuses on a limited fund range with limited data available.

They do, if you ask them. It may even be on an annual statement.
