i would have thought ( or am i abit thick ) that creditors will accept an offer of settlement but it seems thy do not ............
i got the impression frm some of the threads on this site that this is accepted unfortunatly not
i do not have enough cash to clear the whole of the debt......
so do i pay off those that will accept an offer first ???
thene with whats left re offer to the remaining creditors.......as some point blank will not accept beacuse we are up to date with there re-payment plan - even though im only paying them back say 10£ p.m on ( example £7000 debt )
i know i will have to we write to them...but not as straight forward as one would expect........

Bump!
Don't know much about this but I would pay the ones that want to settle and that will reduce your debts somewhat. I don't think the others are obliged to settle and they only really settle when they see little hope of getting more back. Since you have been good at repaying they may think that you are now just trying to get out of paying the full amount
Have any of the debts been passed on to collection agencies? They are normally more eager to settle but if it goes that far you will get a damaged credit scoreDon't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry
