Moving in with parents during mortgage application

Good evening
My husband and I have just reserved a new build (we're FTBs) which is due to complete in August. Our exchange date is the end of March. We're planning to move in to my parents' home mid-April to help us save money for furniture, flooring etc.
I was wondering if any brokers out there have experience of this and know whether it's likely to have a negative impact on our mortgage application to move addresses not long after submitting our application. I don't know if I'm just worrying needlessly.
We already have an AIP from Halifax but not sure if my broker plans to submit the full application with them. He seemed to think we might get a better rate elsewhere. I plan to speak to him next week (he's really great), but I just wondered if anyone had experience of this.
Thanks!
