Tesco Direct have this item at £299 with £50 off for trading in your old vaccum cleaner. Online it automatically takes off £50. Asked in store how you could buy it without trading in (as there is no option) and they looked into it and onfirmed that if you buy online you just get the discount without having to trade anything in. You also get 1000 Clubcard points.
This model is on offer in Argos for £269 with a free attachments kit.

I've tried to order this and you can't have it delivered - it must be collected instore presumably with your trade in. Also the price with the trade in is only a tenner less than everyone else has it. Would you mind letting me know how you get on with your order without a trade in? If it works then I'll be ordering mine too.

Picked up yesterday, no need to trade anything in. This is the best deal for the animal dyson some of the other offers are just the dc44 model rather than the animal one. Tried it out and v pleased. Just need to get used to the weight of it after my bulky upright old dyson!

Don't know the price of the dyson but Sainsbury in store are offering £100 off trade in

If you can run to the DC59A then I would really go for it...its a super vac and runs longer on 'normal' mode than the DC44 (I have both)

From tomorrow, 18th Feb 2016 Aldi will be selling the Dyson DC44 Animal for £189.99. They come with a 2 year warranty. I imagine that they will be sold out fairly quickly.
