Hey guys,
Quick question, I have a TPP going with stepchange, 1 of my debts for 750 overdraft with natwest, Can natwest actually do anything like bailiffs which a TPP is going? Im not worried as stepchange have said ignore the letters but I am just curious? My bank account has dissapeared now guessing its closed.

Hi,
Sorry, Whats a TPP ???
As regards Natwest, Its doubtful, Banks don't chase small overdraught debts through the courts normally.
What usually happens is the account will be closed, the balance then repaid by your chosen method, if you stopped paying for some reason, all that would happen is the debt would probably be sold on to a DCA for collection instead.
Court action may then be a possibility, but only if you didn't pay. Rarely, if ever, are bailiffs used to collect on an OD.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
