Can I use credit card whilst waiting for my mortgage ?

Hello guys
I am currently in the middle of a house purchase ( mortgage been accepted ) I haven't exchanged yet. I have just had a higher than expected vat bill and was wondering if I could put some of it on my credit card? Or will this effect the mortgage. I'm currently debt free other than my buy to let
I'm worried if I do use it before ive got the house I will have the mortgage taken away from me

Ideally dont do anything with your card that you wouldnt normally do.
lenders can audit or recredit check any time they see fit, so while its unlikely to be an issue it could be.

If you have to pay VAT bills with a credit card your business is out of control financially. Do not make this apparent to your lender.I am a Mortgage Broker
