Hi everyone
Sorry I’m after another bit of help again!
When we started our DMP in 2006, we had an MBNA credit card which was transferred to Arrow Global. This was then given a CCJ in December 2007. Since then the account has been running smoothly and the payment set by the CCJ has continued.
Yesterday we received a letter from Arrow Global to say that they were transferring the account to Restons Solicitors and we would need to contact them regarding the repayment.
My question is, can Restons now ask for the payments to be increased and demand for the CCJ to be reviewed?
We now only have three debts but are paying £675 per month to Stepchange and wondered if maybe Arrow Global have thought that they are maybe not getting a fair share of the payment.
We are really worried because we have less than 12 months on our DMP and we have started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Could things be going backwards?
Many thanks
J

If Restons want to change the payment amounts ordered by the court, then they will have to make an application to the court to do so.
You would have the chance to oppose that.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Its unlikely this will happen, even if they did waste there time and money going back to court, a judge would not make you pay any more than you can afford, Restons can say what they like, if its not affordable to you, the judge will not grant it.
