Marmalade scissors !

Made a rash purchase in John lewis today - somemarmalade scissors! No, I'd never heard if them either but apparently they have three blades instead of two and make light work of chopping up fruit peel for marmalade.
Has anyway used them? Do they do what they claim? Or at £8 for two pairs in a blister pack were they a waste of money? We do make a lot of marmalade every year and like the chunky peel variety.

I've never used them either, but I would imagine anything from John Lewis would do what it says it does. If you make a lot of marmalade then they ought to be worth it to make the job easier.0
