Your shouldn't if you keep on the right side of the room! we're in the dot.com era, aren't we! Sunny doesn't send letters by post don't see why wonga should! x0

After getting a loan does Wonga send correspondence to your home address or do they just communicate via email and text??
No, they contact you only via email and text message. Unless you fail to repay and Mr. Bailiff gets involved.
But do please be careful about falling into the Payday Loan spiral - contact www.stepchange.org for advice about debt help and better alternatives.
Good luck to you. x0 -
I am embarrassed to say that I have used Wonga in the past - no they don't send anything to the house and they never call you.
DON'T use payday loans unless you are absolutely certain there is no other way out. They just make things worse for you.0 -
As a first time user over a year ago they did send a welcome letter but unsure as of now0

Thanks everyone!! I had just heard they send a welcome letter? Didn't want a big Wonga letter arriving and everyone knowing my business. Thanks for advice0

I never had a welcome letter but would seriously warn you to not use payday loans unless you are absolutely forced to.0

Hi,
I can confirm that I have used Wonga recently and they have sent me a Welcome letter.
Unfortunately I cannot remember if their letter came in a 'Wonga' branded envelope or a plain one but I did receive one alright. Maybe someone can confirm if their envelope was branded with the Wonga logo?
They are great to borrow from but, just to warn you, my credit rating has taken a serious hit all of a sudden and I reckon it was down to using this type of loan.
Hope this helps,

Used to use them a lot (far the wiser now - this forum is a godsend). I never got anything and the whole thing was done entirely through email and text. One thing I hate about this kind of lending - No "solid" communication, it just makes it all seem like a dream.0

I've (begrudingly) used them before and the only correspondence I had was via email and textThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
