I want to publish copies of my own books.

I want to write text books about my own industry.
I want to start off small as I don't know if there is a market for them.
Selling them through ebay and other outlets I can think of.
Then as it takes off I can only hope for a book deal but before that happens how do you start up? What is the tried and tested method?
I would like a Printer who publishes but could even start as ebooks first. I don't even know how to go about that.

An ebook is probably the best way to start if you don't have anyone actually waiting for the book already (as in, no one will be searching Ebay or Amazon for your particular book because they don't know about it, or about you as an author).
What a lot of people tend to do is create a blog, giving tips about their industry, and promote their ebooks there. If you Google 'how to start an ebook' you'll find loads of good advice. But if you're set on self-publishing a physical copy, just search for 'how to self-publish my book' and you'll again find advice, as well as companies happy to do it for you.
There's no real tried and tested methods; some people really work hard to make themselves known through blogging and social media to sell their ebooks, and others fall into publishing deals somehow. Good luck with whatever you try to go for though!
