Hi myself and my girlfriend have reserved a new build we are hoping to purchase with the help to buy scheme , the only issue is that I have only been in the UK a little over 2 years but I am an Irish citizen, is being here less then 3 years likely to be an issue for lenders? If it helps my girlfriend is a UK citizen and has been here all of her life

Some lenders require more than 2 years residency so avoiding them would be key.
Your broker would have asked for 3 years history and will exclude them automatically for you.
