I guess this will be the first time that most, if not all, UK PV-ers will experience this phenomenon.
I suspect that it will have a similar affect as having a big black cloud overhead but I wonder if some less-sophisticated inverters will think that the sun has set.

It'll not be a full eclipse here so I doubt that there'll be little difference between a partial eclipse and a dark cloud passing overhead ( http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEgoogle/SEgoogle2001/SE2015Mar20Tgoogle.html )....
