Help! I urgently need to obtain copies of certificates for O'Levels and CSE's obtained in Northern Ireland in 1981. I haven't seen the certificates for years and have never needed them til now. Can anyone give me an idea where to start? Thanks

Worth trying the school where you did the exams, they should know how to obtain copies.0

The exam board should be able to provide you with copies or a letter confirming your grades. You'll probably need to find out from the school what exam board you sat first though.0

I got a copy of my certificate from the exam body. Was based in the docks area .

Joking aside the previous poster has provided the answer.0 -
Hi
I had a similar problem several years ago.
It depends on which exam board you sat. CCEA is in the docks area and charge, from memory, £10 per issue and were more than helpful. However, I didn't know which board it was although it obviously wasn't CCEA, I tried the school I went to and they were worse than useless even though it is a highly thought of Girls Grammar School. The English/welsh boards all charge, quite large sums from memory, without the guarantee of finding anything for their time to look to see if you sat an exam and a further charge to issue a duplicate certificate.
I hope you have better luck than I did - I ended up having to re-sit my English Language!
Hope this helps0 -
