Unit linked endowment policy

I acknowledge that these types of policy and not saleable. Does anyone know if that is absolutely correct and also whether these policies can be surrendered.

I have already arranged alternative life cover. This would free up an awful amount of money now my husband can no longer work and is not entitled to benefits. I want to use the money to pay off the reserve on the mortgage.

Thanks in advance.

    It is.

unit linked plans have a daily value. So, why would anyone want to pay more for your units when they could buy the units at market price? - hence no need to trade them.
also whether these policies can be surrendered.
    they can.
