I currently have a Santander mortgage @ svr 4.74% and have been considering remortgageing for some time, but due to the fact I have a boss who does not issue wage slips on time or wages for that matter....... I thought I would be safer to take a new deal with Santander. I was trying to decide on either a 3yr @ 2.99% or a 5yr @ 3.49%, went back online today to sort it out and bummer the rates have now gone UP to 4.49% and 4.74% respectively...hence the reason I now want to kick myself.... please don't all rush lol.

OP are you looking at the SVR rather than the fixed term rate? As I also see lower rates on their website.0

Its illegal not to issue wage slips.
Also it is HIGHLY indicative of an employer who is not paying any/correct amount of tax and NI on behalf of the employee. I would check as a matter of urgency.£1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000
