Some people never bother to change the account/bills name from 'The Occupier' for the whole period of their occupation, but pay the bills in full when presented.
From past experience they know that if they give their name, a credit check is performed and sometimes a credit meter is not approved and a pre-pay meter is installed.
I totally accept that this isn't the correct way, and if something goes wrong the occupant is 'on the back foot'.0
