One of those days

Do you ever have those days where you just feel a bit blue for no good reason really? Feel quite glum today and p**'d off.

Everyone around me seems to be fulfilling dreams that I have, that I have no way of contemplating doing for years yet.

The good weather has finally decided to arrive, great stuff considering I have already had my summer holiday, the only holiday we have in a year and it rained every day and I didn't even get to the beach  .

DD has been a terror for most of the day

Think I am having a midlife crisis at 30 :rotfl:

Oh liz105 I am sorry, my day kind of is pathetic really compared to yours :o At least on the bright side you have 88 days left of pay to find another job. What is it that you do, or was made redundant from?

Funny, i've had one of those days where i feel really low. I think it's because i went round to my friends new house yesterday and it's the kind of house you would die for! it doesn't need the damp, or rewiring sorting and doesn't need each room gutting completely like mine does. Also today..my washing got rained on, my iron fell on the floor and sort of melted my bedroom carpet and then i used the iron on my other halfs shirt and ruined it, i lost my daughters cheapy swim card so i need to buy another one for £2.50 and i dropped my recipe folder and had to re-file all my recipes....i'm looking forward to going to sleep tonight to forget about all my troubles...tomorrow is a new day!

    excellent opportunity to start again.

I was made redundant with 3 months gardening leave at 28. I panicked thinking 'oh my god, i'll never get another job, I can only do what I do' and got a job after 6 months of wallowing, huge pay cut, massive down grade in job because I didn't think I could do anything else.

Made redundant again on 6 May this year (at 37 with a big mortgage) - fantastic! I can put the money to something worthwhile, do whatever I want, start again, maybe start my own business.

See it as an opportunity to grab something new in life.

I was an underwriter for the business banking arm of a major high street bank starting with B.
They are obsessed with 'centralising' (cutting costs, although this is strenuously denied) and closed our office. O well, their loss!!! ;)

    O wow, I've just hit 200 posts!!!

It can be a bit hard when you look around and everyone seems to be getting on with their life and yet debt has you stuck in a rut, i am feeling this way at the moment especially as both of my younger sisters seem to be getting their life just as they want and mine is not only going from one crisis to another but is also just not what i want and plans for change often revolve around money in some way.

But i suppose a big breath is need and then time to just keep plodding along.

Hope tomorrow is a much better day for you all.
