What are my chance of getting a first mortgage

Hi
Me and my partner are looking at first time mortgages but we have some debt from being students on credit cards which amounts to £8,000
Also with cars on finance, I'm getting very nervous if we will get a mortgage.
We have a £30,000 deposit with a £11,000 as a safety net (don't want to use) and want to borrow £100,000.
Does anyone think this is possible? :undecided:undecided

I think I would speak to a broker as some lenders will be a bit iffy about the amount of debt but in the main I think you will be fine, your incomes should be more than enough.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
