When looking at remortgaging do you have to pay and early repayment charge then or are they only applicable of turn ina fixed term deal?

ERC's normally only apply while in a fixed term product.
They'll be a mortgage redemption/exit fee to pay as well in any event. Normally around £125-£150.0
