tax credit under payment

Hi, we are a couple of weeks away from discharge of bankruptcy (hurray!), no ipa. For the last year we have been receiving child tax credit based on last tax years figures. I have just worked out that we have earned much less this year and based on what we have earned should be also getting working tax credit. Obviously coming to end of tax year can't do much now, but when we do renewalafter April , I am certain we will receive a back payment. We will be discharged. Will I declare this after discharge? Because it was what we should have been getting whilst bankrupt so could have changed our soa? Struggling to find any info on it anywhere, hoping someone can help? Many thanks.
