Here's the story..

Was a bit desperate a few months ago and applied for some payday loans.

Stupidly I entered my card details on a website that looks for loans, I didn't think it charged me for it.. I keep getting charged £14.99 and this is the reference LOAN MARKETING CD 1532

Who is LOAN MARKETING?

Anyone have any ideas who this is and how I stop it?

They didn't even match me with a sucessful loan:(

Help appreciated.

Also been charged by
MAGICFINANCE CD 1532 for £65.00
and
MOJO-MONEy CD 1532 for £69.99

If you go to the websites where you gave your card details there should be information on what you do to cancel

Can I get refunded even though they are over 14 days old?

it depends what the T&Cs say.

Mojo Money says within 14 days http://mojo-money.co.uk/

    Magic Finance says the same

Loan Marketing - section 3.9 here tells you how to stop the £14.99 per month
    https://www.loanmarketing.co.uk/terms

Unfortunately it looks like an expensive lesson

Can I get a part refund?

It's a stupid mistake on my end. Wish I knew better.

    Hi Larniee,

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had fees taken from youraccount. Unfortunately this is quite common. Loan Marketing is a credit brokingbusiness that offer a service where they find you a loan. These fees arenormally taken when the business find you a loan or an application has beenmade. Normally you can call the businesses and they can refund the money. However, they can take a £5 administration fee if they have introduced you to aloan. Below is a contact number for each business.

    Loan Marketing - 0844 249 4129

[incorrect phone number removed by MSE Forum Team]

    Mojo Money - 0161 6609485

If you not sure what to say to each business or you’re stillhaving issues with getting the money back, get in touch with us.

I contacted Loan Marketing and because I contacted them outside of 14 days they won't refund me?

Is this the same for all of them?

None of them found me a loan.

If they have not found you a loan then a letter before action may get a response, But they may think you wont have the money to take them to court anyway so just ignore you.

How would I go about writing one of these, I suppose it doesn't hurt to just try!
