Dog food win from 2nd December

Found out I won a prize on 2nd December but didn't receive any notification and there was no post about it - was hidden in comments. But prize host has no issue with me claiming it.
So have got 1.5kg of a new high quality dog food - aatu
Unfortunately a few hours after claiming it, the dog who it was for passed away suddenly aged 3. We have 2 other dogs but still will be upsetting any time I get dog food prize as due a few- we get them for her to try as so fussy with food
