    Ummm no.

    What I said is true, you asked a question and I answered it. The fact you don't know what your notice period doesn't negate the first point.

    When you do find out whether it is 8 or 12 weeks then that is what you are legally obliged to give.
    Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked
