Ink Cartridges.Best Buys, do you know

|I have been looking at various suppliers but the prices are similar. Has anyone found a very good priced supplier of cartridges either original or compatibles. My printer is HP and I usually buy from Inkcyle.

Haven't checked myself in a while but my mum so far found http://www.schoolsuppliesdirect.co.uk to be the cheapest for her for original, new HP cartridges.

I'll have a look at both of those. Thank you very much for responding. I have used Inkcycle in the past.

Just had a look at this one and noticed that they put the price MINUS vat in the payment box. Just seems a bit strange considering that I made it clear I was not a school or a company.

I buy 'expired' sealed original cartridges off eBay for a fraction of the price (a quarter/fifth most times). My printer's HP too - a DeskJet 640C (received as a b'day gift almost 7 years ago). G

Just been looking at ebay and it seems difficult to locate a particular type of cartridge. How did you come across your "expired" sealed ones without wading through page after page?

Provide me with your printer model & type(s) of cartridges required (Black/Colour/Photo) & I'll post eBay search link/s with all the possibilities. Shouldn't be too many - see link below.

Click here for an example of a search for a colour cartridge for my printer - only 11 in the search. The cheapest original ones will usually be 'expired'. While this is not always mentioned in the auction ad, you can always ask before buying.

It's OK if they don't come in their outer cardboard packaging. As long as they are HP factory-sealed in the inner original foil bag they'll be fine. G

Sorry for delay. My husband has just gone into hospital. The printer I bought is HP PSC 1410 (fool me). Their cartridges are expensive. The number on the box is C9351AE.
