Electoral Roll & mortgage application advice please

We have just sold our property, have moved in with family, and have found a new build which would be ready at the end of March. When I called and changed my address on electoral roll the other day, they said it wouldn't register until April 1st. Is this now going to affect our mortgage application as we need to get moving with applying? I've got a feeling from what I have read it's going to throw a real spanner in the works... How do we get around this?
Thanks in advance

If you've been registered previously on the electoral roll it won't cause any issues. People with issues haven't maintained a continuous history on the roll.0

I changed address in July and updated the electoral roll shortly after, I know it was successfull as I voted not long after.
But.... Before submitting my mortgage application 2 weeks ago, I checked on experian and Equifax - both said I wasn't registered on the electoral roll.
I spoke to the electoral office and they confirmed I definitely was registered but that the credit agencies can sometimes take a while to update.
It didn't have an effect on my application as we have a formal mortgage offer now.Debt-Free Jan 2021 - My DFD post - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/78007784#Comment_78007784Keep going, you will get there!0 -

Mine still isn't showing on credit report. We are due to move again in a few weeks so going to complicate it even more!0
