    4 herbal essences @ £11.92
    2 tins slim fast @ £8.96

Is your Tesco good at taking lots of vouchers in one go? Or do you need to split this into 3 or 4 transactions?
If it were me I would buy a few extra things and do 3 toiletry transactions and 1 healthcare transaction.

Edit; if you don't want to keep the value shower gel, give it away to your nearest refuge if possible, along with the value toothpastes we all keep buying and any other unwanted toiletries you might have stashed. I have a womens refuge near to me but they are very careful (they need to be obviously) who they deal with though.

    I second that.

Also, if you are inundated with 40p off colgate vouchers out of the quit it packs, then you can pick up tesco own brand toothpaste for 39p. A pack of toothpaste for a refuge/homeless shelter and 1p off your shopping. I pick up about half a dozen everytime i go into tescos. I'm sure my local homeless shelter think I am slightly unhinged as i only keep offering them a few toiletries and LOADS of tesco own brand toothpaste (shame i can't get free toothbrushes - anyone got any ideas?)

For anyone with Eden coupons, have worked this one out:

    4 x Eden deodorant
    2 x palmolive handwash

    Total to pay = £10.64

    Use: 4 x eden coupons
    1 x £2.50 H & B
    2 x £1.25 QK
    2 x £1 Toiletry H & B

    *profit* of 30p

Not much, but am sure the local refuge will welcome a change from toothpaste :)
Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine. :)

I collect toiletries for my DH charity trips to Kosovo and the 40p voucher is great - value toothpaste is 21p and 2 value toothbrushes are 15p - total of 36p and the voucher is 40p!
Mind you, I'm going to keep my eyes open for the cheap kids toothbrushes and paste, much more fun!

*debbie* - Can you tell me if the 40p colgate quit-it voucher will work off the 15p tesco value toothbrushes? (if so i can vary my collection).

    **edit**
maybe buying the smaller tube of toothpaste for 21p & getting toothbrushes may be an option. Then at least i am giving the tool to be used with the toothpaste!

    NO...toothpaste is toiletries.

You need to split your shopping into £8 lots of healthcare ( that's your Slimfast) and use 1x £2
    & 2 x £1 healthcare coupons.

Split your shopping into £10 lots of toiletries ( that's everything else on your list) use 1 x H&B £2.50
    2 x QK£1.25
    2 x H&B £1 toiletries coupons for every £10 you spend.

Also add 1 x 40p Colgate for every tube of toothpaste you buy. And remember the 70p Palmolive coupon scans against the BOGOF Dove bodywash or the 13p Tesco Value shower gel.

You can also use 1 x 50 points coupons for every £2 of toiletries so long as you don't use more coupons than you have bought items.

    Good luck.

  • I know the £1 H&B doesn't work on the Dove Body Cream, but am I right in thinking it does work on the Body Wash? Pretty sure I have done that one. If so, this could be a better way to get value from the Eden Range coupon.

    4 x Eden Range [£7.56] plus 2 x Dove Body wash on BOGOF [£4.56]
    Total £12.12

    4 x Eden Range coupon [£2.40], 2 x Palmolive coupon [£1.40], 1 x H&B £2.50, 2 x Quit Kit [£2.50] and 3 x H&B Toiletry [£3]
    Total coupons £11.80

    £12.12 - £11.80 - £2.28 BOGOF = £1.96 credit towards other shopping. :D

Hopefully I'll try this out later today.
