Will i be declined for mortgage again

hello all
I changed my name 6 years ago and later changed address. I have been keeping an eye on my credit score (experian) which has been good for many years.
I applied for a mortgage in august, passed DIP, passed full application and paid valuation. a couple of days later i was advised risk team declined because of markers on call credit. upon checking there was a default and ccj under my old name which i was never aware of as i've never received a letter. the default went 6 years old in august and disappeared as did the ccj this month. i didn't pay them as i was told they would be statuary barred and drop of my credit file. i was also advised paying them would put them to satisfied which means they will stay on record a further 6 years from the date of settlement.
Now both credit agencies show clean records i have applied again and have just yesterday passed full application with A2 (was B last time). Can the bank fail me again at risk assessment stage based on my previous application 6 months ago? do they have to assess me on how things are at present ? Will they have a print of call credit from my last application and question me on what happened to the markers?
Any help would be appreciated as i don't want to be heart broken again like last time!
