Need an extra £500 per month!

Hi
I am working but need to earn an extra £500ish a month to be able to pay my bills
I am looking for a 2nd job in the evenings/weekend but havent had any luck so far.
I sell a bit on eBay/Amazon but dont have a lot of storage space to do much more, and am looking for something that I can do from home, I have tried survey, ptc etc... in the past but it took years to earn enough for a payout, are there any sites that payout quicker?
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

It would be worth your time to read Martin's advice guide on boosting your income and this forum. You will find everything you need to know. That's how the rest of us have worked out how to add this kind of figure to our monthly income!Minimalist

Perhaps instead of making extra you can find a way to save money.
So use cashback sites when you shop and shop for deals. If you're buying a lot of things you want but don't need then cut back.
See if you can get any bills lowered (e.g. if you're paying for TV and can get a better deal or just watch freeview, better mobile phone deal, cheaper insurance).0 -
Self promotion is not allowed on MSE so be careful. Also, if the information is that great why haven't you posted already? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Probably because drop shipping can be a terrible idea- it is definitely difficult to do on either ebay or Amazon and can run up huge bills for the seller if they are not careful.
On ebay for instance your account will show as a UK account but commonly the drop ship items come in from overseas- so you have already messed buyers around who expect their goods in a few days. Then the returns and again as a business you must accept these, you are going to have to take them yourself and refund the buyer- you can't epxect them to ship overseas and if you try it then ebay will just refund them anyway.
Lastly, the items typically drop shipped are also sold by the companies themselves- so you are competing with the wholesalers selling to you - and who can afford massively cheaper postal rates and have lower fees.
I would seriously urge caution for any person who has not got a good strong history of business sales on ebay /Amazon- this can end up costing you money and causing you a lot of grief. Remember also that as soon as you do drop ship you must register with HMRC as self employed and pay the appropriate NIC as well as submit tax returns- so any profit you make is going to need declaring.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The drop shippers will often incentivise people to sign up as they need a huge number of sellers to replace those who lose their accounts.
I have a shop and am a TRS seller and am inundated by requests from wholesalers, mainly the Far East to drop ship their items. It goes in cycles, a few years back it was all cheongsong dresses, then it moved through small electricals like look a like iPod shuffles, the occasional phone seller or SD cards, then into phone case and iPad covers. It seems to be back to clothing again now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
