Hi, my direct debit for Sky has bounced for the 22nd of Feb. I can't pay until Thursday 26th.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how soon they will cut me off or any advice?
Will they take payment from the 22nd until the 25th and then I can make full payment. Thank you

Hi,
You should be asking sky, not a debt forum.
Usual practice is they will write to you advising your payment has failed, and that they will reattempt payment within 7 days of the letter.
They wont cut you off for one late payment.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hi. In my previous money-wasting life my Sky DD was supposed to be paid on the 9th of the month. If that payment failed they tried to collect the dd payment again around the 21st of the month. If that payment attempt failed as well they cut me off around the 24th.
They will either write, email or text you to let you know that their 1st dd collection has failed and on what date they will try to collect your payment again but it will def be after the 26th...
Once that payment has been made it may be an idea to log in to your online account with Sky (if you have one, if not then it's easy to create one) and you can change the dd date to after you've been paid to stop this happening again (you can't do this with an overdue balance though).Savings Target 2015 £10/£3000 :rotfl:0 -
Hi Rhubarb
I think EssJT has answered re sky, maybe the question to ask on the debt forum is how to reduce the chance of being too skint to pay your sky next month.? Can we help you with that?Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

the best thing you can do with sky is dump them, then use free-sat or free view and save a lot of £££0

just looking at Rupert Murdoch's ugly mug is enough to make anyone cancel their subscription.0

Why are you worried about Sky cutting you off? They are not a priority let alone a priority debt. Pay them when you have the money or better yet, cancel their rip-off service and find something else better to do with your money and your time.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it
