Hello,
Going back in 2011 I received a CCJ for £200 from this company. I was away at the time hence didn't receive the court paperwork and a default judgement was granted. I did respond as soon as I discovered this and was not working at the time so offered £1 per month and have been paying this still to this day.
I have however gone to email them today to find out their website address is no longer working.
I know that usually when a CCJ is paid up then you have to ask them for proof to show the courts so they mark it as settled.
However if this company is no longer in business and I have been paying them each month then how does the situation stand ?
Will I ever be able to get proof this has been settled to show the courts.

If you apply for a certificate of satisfaction, you can say that that you cannot obtain proof. The court would then write to the company, and if they get no reply within a month they will just mark it as settled anyway. So it can be sorted.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks, I have been searching google and these are the details I have from an email they sent me going back:
Mr M Townend
1A garden office
Pinegrange
Bath road
Bournemouth
BH1 2PF
TOWER CREDIT LTD T/A PRIMEPAYDAYUK.COM
SALSBURY HOUSE
VICTORIA STREET
DOUGLAS
IM1 2LW
There is no telephone numbers I can find for them to call them as i need to find out whats left to pay as i want to settle it in order to then apply for a certificate.
Unless i just pay £15 for a certificate and hope they dont respond. going by the addresses above though, it looks like a shed in a back garden.0 -

I've just had the exact same situation. I recently set myself up with a credit report which shows £422 outstanding to "Tower Credit" - Whilst they filed a CCJ according to the court "they didn't do anything with it". They've suggested I request settlement a you detailed above..Did yours get settled?0
