Becoming addicted to collecting coins

Well actually Scuba, my last logged dive was Christmas 2013, so I havent got wet for a while either, I had hip replacement 2 years ago, and its but me out of action for a while, but desperate to get back into it...

I have too the kit has cost me a packet lol...

I havent potted any coins lately, as I only went back to work today, but hold fire and I will see what my handbag brings me...

Well you know how it is, life gets in the way, and reading through other diaries I need to buck up my postings :-)

I have not much to share other then I haven't been potting for a few days.
Yesterday I had a MRI scan on my hip to see if its in the right place, (I think not but the surgeon is not on the same page as me)

I have to wait for the results to see if its a ligament issue or the actual placement of the hip....

So the side effect of such MRI, is that they had to put air into my hip capsule so they could see what was going on and to separate the parts, so this has caused my hip and surrounding areas to swell up, as the air is trying to escape...

It will disperse over the next couple of days (I have had the unfortunate experience of this procedure three times)

Its like having trapped wind in your stomach but without the added option of letting it out with a big, (well you get the idea)

Its just uncomfortable waiting for the air to find a way out of my body, so I have just been medicating myself trying to get some sleep and find a position that is comfortable with my hip....

So hopefully Il be back up on my feet tomorrow as I have a wedding to attend this weekend and the Bank Holiday to look forward too...

Hello Westieners....

Just popping in to say I am slowly, slowing getting to my total, Im sure I will make it by the end of the summer.....

Who would have known how much potting pennies or £ adds up, I'm sure the interest rates will drop after this weeks, changes...

May as well, keep in in pots :-)

Just popping into my neglected diary.

What has happened since my last post in June, Well I have managed to keep potting, which is good, I planned out my summer with trips out and how much they would cost me and added in the extra bits that you forget like petrol and food.

I seemed to make it through the summer with a little bit left of my budget, I say little as we are talking pennies, so I kept to the target yay go me.

So its now September the most expensive month for me, we have two wedding anniversaries, three birthdays and lots of running about for family that have school age children.

Im plodding along at work, lots of changes in the industry just got to keep my nose clean and do what they expect of me, and go home.

I suppose the advantage is that I have access to lots of coins and any rare ones that come through my till I withdraw to keep at home, So far I have managed to pilfer 4 peter rabbit 50ps which are rare but not as rate as the otter three characters not sure the others will hit circulation but who knows.

I hope to keep this diary more regularly, if people are still reading.
