Failed IVA - Can it be removed from Credit File?

Hi All,
We started an IVA in 2005, but it failed after about 8 months. Can we have it removed from our credit file as it is not current / failed? Or does it have to stay on there for a certain length of time?

Unfortunately, fils, it will stay on your record for six years - not a lot you can do - sorry.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
