Urgent: How do we find out if there is a Bankruptcy Order against Us

Hi All,

We are in the process of moving and our new landlord (well, the agent) has done the referencing process and apparently uncovered a bankruptcy order against my husband. Now we have no knowledge of this whatsoever and have not been sent any paper work about bankruptcy or served any papers or anything. How can we find out if we have had a BRO against us and what do we do about it?

Please help - very urgent

Thanks for that, have checked for our surname, but we are not on there.

Husband has spoke to agent again and they have said that it says on the reference 'Bankruptcy Order/Voluntary Arrangement'. Now we did start an IVA a couple of years ago and it failed and now we are in a debt management plan which we are managing ourselves. Would that show up on that site that we had had an IVA? Or does it only show current IVA/BRO's?
