The ghost of P4 Parking. At a loss

Hello all
I'm hoping someone here can help me out?
I have come home to a 'Notice of Intention to instruct solicitors to issue summons' (LOL!!). I've ransacked my flat looking for my little file of letters from these cowboys and cannot find it. I'm hoping a regular could help me out with what I remember from the last year(ish). I could have sworn I kept them, except I had a mental health crisis recently and sometimes I did things I don't even understand!
This has stressed me out a bit, so I've also had a couple of beers.... sorry if I mis-type!
I received a parking invoice back on May 12th 2014 ON MY WINDSCREEN from Nighthawk. As a regular lurker back in the early MSE days, I always saw 'ignore it' and went on with my business - 1st mistake!
Some time later (02-03 August 14) I received what you would recognise as an NTK in the post from a company called TNC acting on behalf of P4Parking and that's when the fun began!
I got onto the forums and figured out that as they are a member of the BPA I needed to:
I received no reply to or acknowledgement of the letter and I've just found another 'Final demand from payment' from 26th August during my ransacking which is from around the time of my breakdown. See, I kept it, but did nothing with it...:o 2nd mistake! If I reach back into my brain, it was so close to the sending of 'the letter' that I thought it was a bit of a cross-over type thing, where they'd sent it out before receiving/dealing with mine. Plus, it just looks like more of the same drivel. I thought "I'll ignore you until you respond to my letter".
SO here we are in Feb 2015, 9 months out and I have a silly letter informing me that they may do something, at some time... blah blah
I thought this had gone away...! I have a feeling they're playing a bit of a game here.
Can anyone give me some advice on where to go from here? I've read around and can't find much relating to this situation. I've lost the file with the previous letters etc
As always, many thanks indeed to those of you replying. Your help is v much appreciated!
I'm off to re-ransack and find that file!

- send them 'the letter' - done. Did have proof of postage, but it's with said lost file
- complain to my housing association (land owner) - done. Unsuccessful
- Establish it as legit against POPA2012 paragraphs 8 & 9. Done - I recall establishing that the dates I received the PCN & NtK were outside of what is set out. I was ready to take it to appeal on that basis!

only deal with it if you get an LBC or an MCOL from the PPC or landowner etc (DRP are powerless)0 -
Many thanks for your reply! I'll check those threads out. :-)0

if you find that missing paperwork, if the NTK was out of time and you did appeal , complain to the BPA and the DVLA that no cancellation or popla code was issued and they have breached the BPA CoP
ideally this will get you a cancellation (or a popla code)
ignore any debt collector letters in the meantime, if you cannot find the proof from last year, do as I said earlier and ignore anything apart from a legitimate LBC or a legitimate MCOL
bearing in mind this can go on for 6 years in total, so over 5 to go0
