Yey! Charges dropped from Vodafone.

Options
So at the moment i'm paying a whopping £43.50 a month for my mobile contract, yes I know...I've tried but can't get out of it, roll on June 2016 when I can finally reduce it to one of the many great 30 month rolling contracts (Virgin have a fabulous deal at the moment for £15 p/m).

Anyway we've yet to get a house phone in our flat so i've had to use my phone to pay for all sorts of company numbers to sort out bills etc and my phone bill came in this month at £66 .

This morning I called up Vodafone to see if they have something that could help, a price plan change or whatever. Sadly they don't (which means we're going off to buy a house phone so that's fine) but surprisingly the guy said as a goodwill gesture they'd refund the charges. Wahoo! So now my bill is at it normal, but still horrendous, £43.50.

Its the little things :p

As you say, small victories! Well done.

The thing I have for my phone is an app called 'Say No to 0870' - you simply search for the company you are wanting to call, or put their premium rate number in and it searches for an 01, 02 or 03 number (basically a number that might be included in mobile call allowances) which can help with those pesky calls where you are on hold forever. They are good on the whole, but I've had a couple of times when they haven't found the people I've been looking for. Great most of the time though!

Sorry if you already knew, just a friendly tip
